A Prayer of Worship and Humility

Prayer for May 29

Your name is excellent and so awesome!
I come with thanksgiving, praise, and worship.
You are all glorious, and You alone.
Lord, You are merciful, kind, and loving,
Your love is abundant, full and gracious.
You are the desire of each person.
To learn Your attributes gives me comfort.
I know You satisfy all my longings.
I am so unworthy of Your blessings.
I come to humbly seek Your pardon.
My heart hides wickedness, sin, and darkness,
And I need forgiveness for my actions;
Yet, You still remember my weak nature.
Give me strength according to Your promise.
Free me from wickedness in my thinking.
And grant a renewing of Your Spirit.
Teach me a spiritual view of living.
So that your righteousness is my purpose.
Make me a reflection of Your beauty,
So men may desire to know Jesus
And help the coming of Your kingdom.

A Pray that I May Dedicate All I Do To The Lord.
A Prayer for the Day. December 22

My Merciful God, and my Father,
With gratitude, I come to worship.
You created man for Your glory
And ennobled man by Your image,
I acknowledge You as my Master.
My obedience is more an honor
Than performance of a dread duty,
For surrender to You means freedom.
My affections seem to be shallow
In comparison to Your Great mercy.
The agenda of my life always
Was perfected in Your good design;
The purposes of Your will becomes
The desire of my sole being.
I joyfully face this day's trials
With knowledge, they bring me closer
In fellowship to God my Savior.*
You empower for the day's duties,
All employment then must be holy-
Let whatever I do be reverent.
Let awareness of all Your blessings
Then overflow in words of praises
That everywhere men come to believe
The glorious hope in the gospel.

A Prayer For April 23, Let This Day Be Worship And Service To God

LET THIS DAY BE WORSHIP AND SERVICE TO GOD, A Prayer For Today, April 23

Oh, Lord God of all Blessing,
Help my heart to be grateful
For all that You have given
And for Christ my dear Savior.
Keep me free from sin's guile.
Give to me my bread daily
And some more for the needy.
Teach me that this day's value
Is made great in great service.
Give to my eyes Your vision.
Let my ears hear Your whisper.
And may love for You direct
All of my words and actions.
Teach me the love for others
The same way I love myself.
Show me where to be focused
That I miss not the harvest.
May I share in Your passion
And work to spread the Gospel;
To help build up Your Kingdom,
So that Your rule shall govern
In the hearts of all mankind.
I give this day as worship
And pray my life bring honor
To the name of Jesus Christ.
