Below is a collection of the prayers that I wrote for November. This is a work in progress. I will be adding more untilhe the month has a prayer poem for each day.
For Christ's Kingdom Laborers, A Prayer for November 1
And You are the blessing of all living.
You made us all brothers by Your design
But You let us sojourn for a season
In a land whose ruler loves the darkness
And men are strangers to Your gospel.
I pray for the many who are searching
The ones who are oppressed by sin's burdens
Who grieve, are lost, afraid, blind, and lonely.
Show them they are missing their true purpose,
Give their hearts a hunger to know Jesus,
Break their bonds of darkness and grim sorrow,
Bring joy as they accept Your forgiveness.
Send to them someone with Your message
Of new life, of mercy, hope, and blessing.
They just need someone with honest passion-
Brave men who are willing to pay dearly
The price to bring others to the Savor.
Fill all of Your children with this vision
That we go and proclaim, "Christ gives freedom,"
And so build the kingdom of our Father.
Take time to read this a few times until the words become yours. Pray the prayer in your own words.
"Therefore, ask the Lord of the Harvest to send out laborers into his harvest field" Matthew 9:38.

For Strength To Do Good, A Prayer For November 3rd
O Lord, You are my Father and my God.
I thank You for the precious gift of life.
And thank You for the blessings You give me.
I know that times of trial come to all,
So give me grace to yield to Your will.
When I err and sin, forgive for Christ's sake
Whose death is the payment for my wrongs,
And by His name is power to live right.
When I must bear burdens, give me strength.
Let me not live for myself but to serve.
Where good must be done, direct me to act.
In the place of my weakness, give Your might.
Let Your strength make me able for the task.
Guide me to where men labor in Your name,
That the good of Your kingdom fill the earth
When all men may be brothers one day soon.

May Your Spirit reflect Jesus Through Me, A Prayer for November 5
Thank You, God, Your love abounds with gentleness,
You treat me with great mercy and tenderness.
I come here now in prayer with devotion,
Yet I may call You Father, My Sustainer.
My sins are far too many to contemplate,
I would do good, yet evil is demanding,
But by sin's lust, I cannot find contentment-
It is in You I truly find fulfillment.
In Christ's blood I claim mercy and forgiveness,
And thank You that Your graces are numberless.
Keep me from things that stifle Your abiding.
May Your Word be my deepest sure foundation;
From where I may be able to contemplate
How great is the full measure and dimension
Of Your love which exceeds all conception.
Let the work of Your Spirit give fruitfulness
That I may have the fullness of salvation
And so in all things become his reflection.
Romans 8:38-39. Ephesians 3:18.
The last line is the one the prayer/poem is titled for. The rest of the prayer leads up to it, and that is the way of the Christian life: we must acknowledge God as the Father, confess our sinfulness, ask forgiveness, seek his grace, lean on his word, and be open to the Spirit. These things are not a formula but elements of a relationship, and our growth in Christ is through that relationship.

For God's Grace, A Prayer For November 10
That in Jesus Christ, I have constant access to You.
I praise You, Lord, that Your favor comes as a gift-
A gift I can never earn, deserve, or merit.
Show me how much I depend on Your gteat mercy;
In my weakness, I know Your grace is sufficient.
May I learn to daily receive Your grace by faith,
And how to draw on the rich provision You give
I rejoice that I may draw from Your fullness,
Each moment I find You sufficient to my need.
I bless You for Your abundant grace day by day.
By Your grace, may my conduct draw others to You.
And may it constrain me to live to give You praise,
Let me be a channel of good to all I meet;
And by Your grace to help others as You helped me.
I am glad to show whose I am and whom I serve.
May You bless me to the fullest, through Jesus Christ.
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;. 2 Corinthians 9:8.
May I Be A Blessing, A Prayer for November 12
And the Lord of Lords, I worship.
I am in true awe of the Almighty
And yet I delight in My God.
May I come closer to You
Through the cleansing blood of Jesus.
Wipe out sins that keep me away,
And be gracious to my weakness.
Please grant Your blessings today.
May I commit my way to You.
Guide me to make wise choices.
Show me what service I may do.
Make me a blessing to all I meet.
May all see only Your grace in me.
Give me victory over evil.
Be my shelter and protection.
May I set my heart on heaven.
Help me to work for Your kingdom.
Show me the needs of those I meet.
Give me a heart to serve others.
Let me be Your hands all this day.
And find blessing in being a blessing.
When we are a blessing, we receive more blessings than we give. It is only with the Lord's help that we can be true blessings to others.
The Penitent Disciple, A Prayer for November 13
I bless You for every single day
That my lowly life has been highly lifted
By the knowledge of the Gospel.
Thank You that Jesus opened my eyes to God
And revealed my own sin to me;
Until I cried out for gracious pardon,
And found forgiveness at the cross.
Oh Lord, I have tried to do Your holy will,
But I have failed so many times.
Now I come before you confessing my sins
And find forgiveness through Jesus' blood.
May I give patient thought to my willful self
And my nature to jump into sin,
Grant me the heart to be humble before you;
Help me repent, resolve, and renew.
Fill me anew with Your sweet Holy Spirit,
So that I may delight in Your ways,
And enable me in my daily routine
To proclaim the Gospel of Christ's love.
May I carry the name of Jesus with me
And not flinch back from doing my part;
To bring forward that day when, by Your grace,
All men's hearts are ruled by Christ's love.
A Prayer for God's Daily Help, A prayer for November 14
To ponder Your love makes me thankful.
Hope brightens the path that I travel,
Grant wisdom as I go out today.
When weakness keeps me from right actions,
Be present as my source of power.
May choices I make bring You honor.
In trials guide me by Your Spirit.
When tempted, let me know You overcome.
Keep foolish thoughts out of my thinking.
Keep danger and all harm far away.
Grant patience that comes by Your Spirit.
And protect me from sin and folly.
Let labor for You and Your kingdom
Be always my one and true passion.
May service for men be my motive
And fulfill in me love for people-
So others will look to Your Gospel.
But as for me, I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my help and my deliverer; you are my God, do not delay. Psalm 40:17.
Prayer For God's Kingdom, November 16
May I attend to the still small voice of the Holy Spirit.
Whatever I do, may all that I do be done for Your glory.
May my desire be that Your kingdom comes soon to this sad, sad world.
Let the Holy Spirit bring a vision of your kingdom in my heart
May Your good purpose be done and bless the souls of every man.
I offer to you my body, mind, strength, character, and my life,
Use me in Your work that I may count for Your Kingdom.
Teach that I shall trust You always for my daily needs.
As a steward of Your blessings, may I share generously.
Give me as much peace and joy in adversity as in prosperity.
Thank You that when I serve You, then You work all for my good.*
In the name of King Jesus, may His reign of love fill all men's hearts.
* Romans 8:28
Prayer For Unity, A prayer for the day, November 18
Give patience for how we differ;
Keep selfish thoughts from entry,
That spoils what should be union.
Our egos will try to upstage
The command to love one another,
But suppress our sin-led natures.
Give insight so that we yield
To guidance led by Your Spirit-
That Christians will be more united
And labor will then be precious.
Let actions that bring us closer
Be honored and have Your blessing.
May motives of self be unknown
That others' needs may be answered.
Let united hands reach out across
All prejudice, hate, and each divide.
Let vision for Your bright kingdom
Make obscure that which is petty
And enlarge our lives of service.
Let's embrace the cause of Jesus
And working each as God's servant
Prove power is in His message
To unite men in the Gospel.
That together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For A New Day, Prayer for November 20
For blessings you give and refresh each day.
You have brought me to another new dawn
And filled it with new blessings and duties.
As I go, may my heart be full of love.
I lay my hand in Yours and I trust You;
You will lead me in the right and safe way.
I am glad to know that You are with me.
Forbid that I offend such fellowship,
By any sin, or act, or omission.
Teach me to walk in the steps of Jesus;
And to let Jesus live his life through me,
That I too may go about doing good.*
Open my eyes to see that which is right,
And free my ears to hear that which is pure,
And clean my heart to love that which is true.
When my final day of life is ended,
And I leave this land of shadow and hope
You will bring me to my heavenly home
To partake of the joy of my Savior.
I thank You for this in Jesus' name, amen.
This is the prayer for November 22.
But with reverence, for You are the Righteous One.
You are holy in all Your ways toward man,
And still gracious when we come with humble hearts.
All Your judgments are true, fair, and always just;
But Your mercy is shown to man every day.
When I pursue sin, I know your Spirit grieves.
Help me repent and turn away from wrong paths,
And please forgive how quick my heart wanders off.
I will worship with words and by actions too.
Let my efforts to do good honor you
And my every deed be one of humble love.
May the Gospel spread to each human heart
So the Kingdom of Christ will quickly come.
A Prayer of Benediction, For November 25
And that Your mercies always surround me.
I bless You each day for the joy of living,
And all the good things You've put in my life.
You fill all the world about me with beauty,
You are truly merciful and gracious;
You never treat me as my sins deserve.
I bless You for the riches of Your grace
And Your kindness through Christ Jesus my Lord.
You are the sum of my greatest blessing.
How I look to You for benediction.
And the blessings You pronounce over me,
Look upon me with tender compassion,
And take away my many transgressions.
I beseech You as Your humble servant.
Continue to show Your favor to me,
Let Your everlasting arms bear me up.
In You, I am safe from sin and sorrow.
Revive me and fill me by Your Spirit.
Help me to follow where Your spirit leads
Teach me to do Your will and not my own,
And lead me in the way everlasting,
I ask in the name of my Lord Jesus.
Amen.
The Humble Disciple, For November 30
Oh, my Heavenly Father,
I humbly bow before You;
I acknowledge Your goodness
And confess You as my God.
Thank You for Your mercies to me;
For love I do not deserve,
And blessing I could not earn.
I confess my many sins,
And pray for Your forgiveness
By virtue of Christ's shed blood.
Give me purity of heart
So I may see You clearly.
Show me where I may serve you.
Aid me to do Your commands.
Help me to live for Your name.
Cause my faith in You to grow,
And know Your presence with me
May I proclaim Jesus Christ
To all that I encounter.
Give me such love for others,
That draws them to the Savior.
Let me be spent for Jesus,
As he was given for me.
"Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will lift you up." James 4:10
