| Receive Joy |
My God, my Lord, and Father,
Bless me in the knowledge
That in You I am not alone.
Teach me the way of joy,
It comes from You alone,
And grows in Your presence.
Bring me close to the Most-high
Where I may see Your beauties;
They fill the song of birds,
Burst out upon flowers,
And paint the sky at sunset.
Your joy can't be taken
It comes with Your blessing
As a gift from Your Spirit
And by faith is received.
May I bring Your joy to others.
Through word, deed, and service.
May Your joy make me humble
And spare me from darkness
Use me to share with others
That You are joy's fountain.
