A Prayer For God's Love To Motivate Me July 28

Daily Prayer
July 28
The prayer for the day of July 28 is written by a poet of faith and is like a poem. It expresses gratitude for God's love and asks to come closer to his Christ who gave himself in love.

It is as much a meditation as a prayer so read it a few times and then pray it in your own words. You may print a copy and take it with you or bookmark this page.

Prayer for July 28

O Lord, my God I present myself to You
In the name of my Savior Jesus Your son.
To think of Your love yields worship from me.
Give to my heart a joyous knowledge of him
Who taught us to pray  "Abba Father," to You.
May my love for You become motive for me.
I search for You in scripture reading each day
I wait that Your dear Holy Spirit teach me,
So I may learn more about pleasing my Lord.
Let me see him with clearer vision each day,
Help me to trust his mercy, design, and grace.
Teach me to love in every manner of Christ
Let it be in my thinking, doing, and word.
May I serve You by serving others I meet
So I may keep my Master's command of love.
Let my will be to only fulfill Your will.
May I learn not to possess blessings as mine-
I know I have been given blessings to bless.
May all who serve Your gospel unite as one
That we may bring near heaven's kingdom of love.
