A PRAYER FOR GUIDANCE IN LIVING
A Prayer for April 8
Father in Heaven I pray for guidance
To light my path and show where I can serve.
Renew my thinking to be more righteous.
Exalt Christ only in my poor vision.
Defeat is waiting for faith to falter,
Strengthen my resolve to heed Your teachings.
Humble my prideful heart of its boasting.
Allow no weakness to give sin entry.
Remind me always of saints who endured.
Permit me wisdom as Your first blessing.
Whisper Your command so I may obey.
Forbid the project that is not worthy.
Ready me always to bring You honor.
Accept my attempts to give You glory.
