Still, A poem
May I find a place
In the morning
To stop
To look at the clouds
And let problems
Drift to a destination
Ordained by You.
Be still and know I am God*
May I find a place
Near the noontime
To pull over
To listen to the creek,
And let anxiety
Flow to a way
Charted by You.
Be still and know I am God.*
May I find a place
In the evening
To stand still
To watch the leaves fall,
And let worries
Land where they may
By your plan.
Be still and know I am God.*
May I be a place
All my days
Unhurried:
To know your power
In all things.
To see you as God
In loving control
Be still and know I am God.*

Thank you for visiting my blog and reading my prayer-poem. May I find a place
In the morning
To stop
To look at the clouds
And let problems
Drift to a destination
Ordained by You.
Be still and know I am God*
May I find a place
Near the noontime
To pull over
To listen to the creek,
And let anxiety
Flow to a way
Charted by You.
Be still and know I am God.*
May I find a place
In the evening
To stand still
To watch the leaves fall,
And let worries
Land where they may
By your plan.
Be still and know I am God.*
May I be a place
All my days
Unhurried:
To know your power
In all things.
To see you as God
In loving control
Be still and know I am God.*
