God And I
A Poem


When I explain to you
Who I am
I am accepted.
When I reveal to you
My secrets,
I am reassured.
When I admit to you
My weakness
I am safe.
When I confess to you
My darkest sin
I ‘m forgiven.
When I share with you
My life’s dream
I am respected.
When I confide to you
My groundless fears
I am understood.
When I tell you
My struggles
I am empowered.
When I bring to you
All of me
You give me all of You.
