My Father and Lord of Heaven and earth,
With watchful care, You provide my needs
From the beginning of my days until this day.
You correct me when I wander from You
And return me to the pathway of truth.
In sorrow, I can find comfort in You,
In joyful times, I will not forget Your grace.
I'm thankful for all Your goodness and care.
Give daily grace for the testings I face.
You designed this day in mercy and love,
I believe this day has blessings for me,
I receive by faith the goodness You give.
And avow my heart to service for You.

PRAYER TO UNDERSTAND AND LIVE GOD'S LOVE
Prayer For May 19

Lord God and Loving Father teach me
What a great privilege it is
To have free open access to you;
And it is humbling to know
That it was dearly purchased by blood,
Which paid my redemption in full.
May I soon become able to learn,
And more, to recognize Your love
Which is so beyond measure and vast
I could not understand its depths.
Your great love searches always for me
And out of compassion gives grace.
May Your love become precious to me,
Lead me to comprehend it more.
Help me face today's trials and to
Know how to overcome my sin.
Let me find shelter within Your arms
And all my confidence be You.
Let me by careful actions show love
So that my example shows You.
May I be a blessing somewhere this day
And may I glorify my Lord



Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will dwell in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1

PRAYER FOR GOOD CONDUCT AMONG MEN, A Prayer for April 9

Father God of Life, Light, and Love,
You watch over all that I do.
Let me be a blessing today,
As was The Good Samaritan;*
Whose good deeds endured the ages.
Make me faithful in all my acts.
Help me to always do my best.
May I welcome the honest task.
Guide me in all my decisions.
Help me to be honest and fair,
And considerate of others.
Make me thoughtful toward strangers,
And gracious to the needy ones.
Guard me against any vain word.
Keep me from the unworthy thought.
Protect me from the selfish deed.
Draw me close to my friends this day,
Closer to family and kin,
But closest of all to my God.
Make me wiser and more noble,
Having honored my Lord this day.
May I be better fit to serve
God and my brother tomorrow
Having been a blessing today.

A PRAYER TO BE LIKE A CHILD, Prayer for April 10

All wise, all loving, Father
You take joy in blessing.
You have made me Your own
As I make Jesus mine.
I confess my weakness,
I am like a child;
With all their weakness
And their imperfections,
But not their purity,
Or their humility,
Or their teachableness,
And trustfulness.
Cleanse me from all my sins.
Grant me the joy and peace
In believing in You.
May I have the pure love

Like a child hold Jesus Hand

That believes all things,
Looks for good in all things,
And that endures all things.
Help me to be faithful,
Steadfast to do right;
And to turn from the wrong.
Bless me in all that I do,
That I, in turn, may bless
All others, Your children.
May I learn the virtues
That comes with childhood
Without any conceit
Vanities or self-pride;
But to have their pure trust
And the dependency
That takes hold of Your hand.

"And he said, "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of Heaven." Matthew 8:13

Jesus said unless you become like a little child you will not see the kingdom of heaven. Children have many virtues that we lose as we become older. It is a good habit to look at those virtues and recover them in our own lives. the most important is the virtue of trusting faith. We must have faith in our loving God and like a child approach him without fear.

A PRAYER FOR MY FAMILY, A Prayer for April 3rd

I bow in Your holy presence, O God,
To thank you for the goodness and mercy
Shown to my family and my household.
I ask Your forgiveness for all our sins
Which have offended Your Holy Spirit.
I pray for grace and ask for guidance
That I may so live as to please You.
And I admit I need Your good mercy,
Help me to honor You in fear and love.
Help me to be the shepherd of this house.
Grant us the protecting care of Your arm,
Shield us from accident and danger.
Give Your blessing to our acts of service,
And prosper the honest work of our hands.
May we each know You in spirit and truth,
And may we know the joy of salvation.
Let this family honor Your design;
That our home be a haven here on earth.
One that is filled with love, joy, and laughter,
As a lighthouse pointing all heavenward.

May our home be a light pointing to heaven

A little commentary:
I hope this prayer encourages your faith.

First, we must walk in reverence and holiness with our God. There are many things we can pray for our families. I feel the most important is that we love and serve God. It is my prayer that those I love find Jesus as their Savior.
