FACING THE DAY TOGETHER
A Prayer in Poem verse.
God, as we face a new day, just me and You
I look on my list of oh so many a chore;
But I want to achieve what You want me to do,
So, lets get together before I pass my front door.
May my focus stay fixed on Your good desires,
And put my agenda before You in humble submission.
The world, the devil, and my heart are all such liars;
May I ignore them and give you my full attention.
My will is strong and it does not easily surrender
Though I know that You have a purpose for me ahead,
But by the truth of your love I happily ponder
That in your hand- oh to what blessings I will be lead!
