A Prayer To Know Christ's Passion
A Prayer for October 7th

Teach me, my Father, to be thankful
For Your kindness and rich mercy.
Teach me the holy from the profane
Do not let me choose the wrong thinking
That has brought many to have regret.
Help me to endure when I'm tested,
And keep my focus on Your goodness.
Then I will declare God is able.
Help me to obey all Your commands.
Teach me the meaning of Christ anguish.
Show me the manner of His passion.
Give me a fervor for His teaching.
And bring His beauty to all service,
For He went about in good doing.
Let me walk beside men with meekness,
Where I may follow in Christ's footsteps.
I live these actions as my worship;
I pray You accept my life today
As a gift worthy of my Savor.
