COME,
A POEM
To Peter the Rock
in the boat
Jesus says. “Come.”
To the rich ruler
with Questions
Jesus says, “Come.”
To Lazarus
in the tomb
Jesus says, “Come.”
To the thirsty
in this life
Jesus says, “Come.”
To all of us
where we are
Jesus says, “Come
unto me
all who labor
and are heavy laden
and I will give you rest
for your souls."
