PRAYER OF THE THANKFUL SERVANT
PRAYER FOR JUNE 30


Oh God My Father, I come here with thanks
For all Your mercies and for Your bounty.
And for the guidance given through Your word.
I thank You for the gift of family,
Of friends, of church and my community.
I Thank You for the gift of daily bread
And for the opportunities to serve.
Bless me with renewal that I may obey.
Give me Your counsel and direct my service
Show me the burdens that others must carry
May I be one to help them lift their load
And by serving others I may serve God.
Grant me grace for the duties of the day,
May men everywhere labor for the poor
And may we all care for those suffering;
That through acts of goodwill spread Your gospel
Of Christ's redeeming sacrifice for sin
And hasten the day when he shall return.
