A Prayer To Do Loving Acts, A Prayer for the day of August 27
My Gracious God, Lord. and Sovereign
What comfort to call you Father!
I'm grateful that You are goodness
And needful of Your kindness
I'm Thankful for Your wise guidance
And delight that You so provide.
Your Spirit leads me with patience
I await to hear His whisper.*
Make ready my hand for service
With humble grace, yet with passion.
Let vision to serve Your kingdom
Be reason for all my choices.
Let delight to be like Jesus
Cause loving acts to flow outward.
May actions of love be common
And always come as first response.
May doing good bring a blessing
And direct men to the Gospel.
I confess I am not able
To become such a kind person-
But power comes from my Savior.
I freely give to You myself
So others may give You glory.
